| We’ve made available to collectors, one of
the master carvers, M.C. Illions’ finest horses ever carved. A master
carver for the Americana Carousel Collection, has carefully reproduced his
"tour de force", the American Beauty or "flower horse", as he referred to
it. The American Beauty was the lead horse for M.C. Illions’ last
carousel, carved in 1927. Three of these original completed carvings are
known to exist and have been valued in excess of $150,000 each. |
